We know that illnesses, injuries and emergencies occur at all times of the day, not just during business hours. We want you to be comfortable taking care of your child no matter what happens. We have a lot of resources available to you to help you get through any situation that has you worried.
1. You can reference common conditions and at home treatments, medication dosing charts and a list of ER and Urgent Cares that may be helpful to you right here on our website. If your child is drinking OK, urinating OK, and doesn't have any difficulty in breathing or change in consciousness, it is OK to try some home remedies first to see if you can get them feeling better before taking them in to be seen or calling the On-Call doctor.
2. If you have a non-emergent concern, you could send us a portal message (E-mail) through the patient portal. One of our providers will get back to you with in 2 days.
3. If you are still unable to trouble shoot your concern, or have an emergency and need to speak with the on-call provider, we are available to you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Just call our regular office line (248-654-6499). Our prompts change in the after-hours, and pushing "2" will connect you with the on call physician. If we do not answer, leave us a message with your child's name, age, and the brief explanination of the concern and we will call you back within 30 minutes.
If you have a concern regarding a poison or medication ingestion or overdose, please call the poison help line directly:
